New Bridge (pictured above) is located in the south of the village where is spans the River Teign. It is said to be haunted by the Dewal or Devil, although it is not known why.

Jew’s Bridge is located near Stover, a residence in the village. It is said to be haunted by the ghost of a Jewish pedlar believed murdered there. In 1961, a woman reported “something waving it’s arms and running alongside her”.
